Job Description: Challenging opportunity where you will be expected to support our client base in the European region, providing functional support, guidance and advice either remotely or at the client site. The successful candidate should be flexible, able to spend extended periods of time away from home where necessary, and work as either part of a team or individually to meet our client’s expectations. Although the support will be primarily for European clients, the opportunity may arise for travel outside of this region.

The role and tasks to be undertaken will vary greatly, requiring a great amount of flexibility from the successful candidate(s). They will include Project Management, training, functional support, system enhancement design, Quality Assurance Testing and documentation, amongst others.

This is an excellent opportunity for somebody that has outgrown their current role, but is looking to apply their experience in a more demanding and challenging environment.

Required Skills/Experience: At least 5 years experience of Trade Finance within a banking environment. Knowledge of Letters Of Credit and Collections essential, additional knowledge of Bonds & Guarantees, Reimbursements, Funds Transfer, Loans, Forfaiting and Clean Acceptances beneficial.

Experience of project roles, training, coaching and managing people would be beneficial. Also the ability to self-learn on new computer systems. Foreign language skills desired, but not essential.

Generating sales from in the Middle East and Africa region with revenue responsibility for new and existing accounts.
Working with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
Managing a long sales cycle for a high ticket item which includes: cold calling, prospecting, conducting presentations, responding to RFPs, organizing workshops and participating in negotiations.
Working closely with the sales support team to ensure success in each step of the sales cycle.
Territorial development. 



At least 3 years of consultative sales experience (identifying and targeting prospects, generating leads, writing proposals, meeting with clients, following up with contacts and making presentations).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and willingness to travel extensively.
Independent self-starter and excellent team player.
Strong work ethic, excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
BA/BS in business or marketing.
MBA is a plus
Software, International or Financial Industry sales experience a plus.
Travel up to 40%
Fluent English and Arabic is a must
